What this covers
GeoSpy is a location game. This policy explains what the app stores so you can create games, guess them, and keep a score. GeoSpy does not sell your information and does not use it to track you across other companies’ apps.
Account
You sign in with Apple. We store the account identifier Apple gives us, the username you choose, and the emoji mark you pick. If you share your name, we use the first name once to suggest a username. We do not keep your email address.
Location
While the app is open, GeoSpy uses your location to drop a game where you are standing, to list games nearby, and to measure how far you are from a pin. When you create a game, that pin is saved. GeoSpy does not collect location in the background.
Games
We store the games you create, including the place, the optional clue, and the answer. Other players see the first letter of each word, not the answer. We also store guesses, scores, and reports.
Where it lives
This information is stored with our database provider, Supabase, so the game can work on your phone and for other players.
Deleting your account
Profile includes Delete Account. That removes your username, mark, score, games, guesses, and the sign-in itself. It cannot be undone.
Children
GeoSpy is not for anyone under 13.
